Villa Athena - Taormina

Strongly recommend this place and would love to return. the hotel was an incredible base for enjoying a great area, so close to one of the entrances to Taormina's core center, the cable car which can be taken to the beach, and the center of town. I booked a room with a comfortable bed, a safe box, multi-channel television, and a refrigerator. I enjoyed its view over the sea. Good and fantastic location, with free parking available.

The hotel has particularly good location just next door to beaches like Isola Bella, the Porta Messina, one of the entrance to Taormina's core centre, and the theatre. Before bed I went to Al Grappolo d'uva for a nightcap, it's next door to the property. Greatly enjoyed having climate control and a kitchen area in the reasonably spacious and cozy room.

my twin/double room had central heating, a multi-channel tv, and a writing desk. the cost was £ 46. the location of the hotel was very central, near the bus stop and the main town, beaches like isola bella, and the centre of taormina.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room was clean and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen. The highlight was the rooftop terrace with a amazing view of the city and ocean. The hotel is conveniently located right in the center, close to everything. We were able to easily explore the city and visit nearby attractions thanks to its prime location. we had the convenience of parking available on the hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at Villa Athena in Taormina. The location was perfect, with easy access to the bus station and the cable car to the beach. The central location also meant that I could easily explore the town center and visit popular attractions like Teatro Antico and Villa Comunale. But the highlight of my stay was definitely the amazing sea views from the terrace. It was a picturesque sight, especially during sunrise.

There were a few drawbacks to consider. The noise from the adjacent cable car station was noticeable until 1am, but I eventually got used to it.

The guestroom at Villa Athena was amazing! It had a cozy and homely feel with a flat-screen TV, kitchen, and all the necessary kitchenware. It made me feel like I was right at home.

Personally, I found the air conditioning to be a bit too cold sometimes, but that's just my preference. Others might enjoy the coolness it brings.

I always stay at this amazing place in Taormina. The staff helped me when I forgot my jewelry. It has everything I need: Wi-Fi, free parking, outdoor dining, and more. Perfect for my business trips.

Villa Athena was so good with its fine view, immaculate rooms, and convenient amenities like a small kitchen. The owner, Alessio, were great too recommend local experiences, made our stay special. The location was perfect, away from the main roads but still within walking distance of all the attractions. The private terrace was a highlight, perfect for stargazing at night.

Everything was spot on.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. It was really convenient to have the cable car and the center just a stone's throw away. The sea views from the terrace were absolutely stunning, and we loved spending time there. having a parking spot in the center was a major advantage as it made exploring the area much easier.

The room itself was a little disappointing. It felt a bit basic and in need of renovation.

Fantastic central location, great sea views, convenient for town centre, local restaurants, bus station. Super clean clean room with all necessary amenities. Small kitchen for meal preparation. Kind owner offering local recommendations. Highly recommended.
